Value of Content in the AI Era

In last couple of years we can notice a huge increase of textual and graphics contents generated or setted by AI (the important thing is to be present and constant in some way in the social flows, AI simplifies this).

This abundance of contents as well as their homogeneity in format make all information sort of “less valuable”. You can write a good and original article but in few time there are tens of similar ones and it becomes difficult to get a decent SEO positioning. So also the value of a good article is very inflated nowadays.

Moreover it becomes more probable that the article will be read mostly by AI engines so that people will get only a resume of it by AI itself.

Does it make sense produce amateur contents? To put in Internet your works when probably they only will be data to train new AI models and won’t be read by other humans?

I’m try to understand this, but I think to need some time to see how all this converges to understand what will still be valuable.

Meanwhile I put here an image that I’ve had in my head for years, that I never try to draw on my own since I don’t know to draw, but with AI I easily get a basis that I fixed with GIMP.

It is a window placed high in the wall, I saw similar windows in several places, like houses, towers etc, seeing the sky but not the landscape. You feel the peace of the sky but you don’t know what going on outside, and this give you some anxiety.

This in particular is a window on a ventilation facility in the high atmosphere of Venus. It still doesn’t exist, but someday someone will be looking at it, with calm but anxiety.
